About Us

Jardin de Amor is a non-profit, privately-funded, non-affiliated school serving the needs of some of Guatemala’s poorest families. Located in Santa Maria de Jesus, the school and its team of volunteers are committed to breaking the chains of poverty through education.

Jardin de Amor has also become a Community Center which provides much needed health and work services, as well as housing assistance.

Jardin de Amor’s underlying goal is to promote and encourage the self-improvement and self-esteem of Santa Maria de Jesus’ next generation so that they might achieve a better quality of life for themselves and their families.
